Product Description
Available in standard combinations of Ash and Sapele. Beech and Paduak or Maple and Walnut. The woods have been chosen to complement each other both in colour and grain and finished to preserve the natural contrast of the timbers.
The woods used are selected to be of a Janka hardness in the range of approximately 1000 to 1600. Woods that are softer than this will wear and disintegrate over time; woods that are harder will tend to damage the edge of the knife being used
Dimensions +/- 2mm: Length 400mm, Width 240mm, Thickness 22mm. Wood is a natural material and cannot always be made to exactly the same tolerance.
Each board is finished to a very high standard and sealed with a combination of oils and waxes to preserve the woods and the working surface. Please see advice on board maintenance.
Boards ordered via the website are packed in their own display case before being packaged for dispatch by courier.
